Wat Phrathat Doi Kham - Chiang Mai, Thailand

Chiang Mai is in Northern Thailand. Wat Phrathat Doi Kham is located on top of mountain in Chiang Mai. It is near Royal Park Ratchaphruek. Mostly, tourists are familiar with Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep but Wat Phrathat Doi Kham is also beautiful. Doi Kham means Golden Mountain. Thai people like to go to this temple and grant for the wishes, then provide jasmine to the sacred Buddha.

Access

Rent a car or private car. Follow the sign of Night Safari and Royal Park Ratchaphruek. 


If visit temple in Thailand, must dress properly (do not wear short pants).
Thai people also known here in name of Thanjai Buddha.
When arrive temple, first thing that I could see is large Buddha. I headed to respect Buddha first.

The outstanding pagoda (in Thai called Chedi)

If would like to grant your wishes, ask for blessings from the Thanjai Buddha statue and tell that you will offer jasmine garlands (50 or more).
