Nemophila Fair at Nagai Botanical Garden - Osaka, Japan

Nemophila refers to blue flowers like blue sky. You can see nemophila in many prefectures during April to early May. The popular nemophila locations in Japan which are Hitachi Seaside Park (Ibaraki), Showa Memorial Park (Tokyo), Maishima Seaside Park (Osaka), Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park (Osaka) and etc. Unfortunately, Nemophila Fair at Maishima Seaside Park was cancelled this year (2025) due to Expo 2025. Therefore, I visited Nemophila Fair at Nagai Botanical Garden. I used to visit this garden for 3 times. Latest, I visited the park in early May 2025. You can use this information for next year visit. For event date, check on the website.

Event period: 5 April - 6 May 2025 (this event has ended).

Time: 9:30-17:00 (entrance until 16:30)

Admission Fee: Adults: 300 yen (I bought Enjoy Eco Card / One day pass, I could buy the ticket 270 yen. Show the one day pass to staff when purchase the ticket).  

High school and university students: 200 yen (student ID required)

Venue: Nagai Botanical Gardens, Osaka

Access: MRT Nagai Station (Midosuji Line), exit 3

Nagai Botanical Garden is easy to access by metro and The teamLab Botanical Garden is located within this garden. After got off from metro station, walked 700 m. to Botanical Garden Main Gate. The main gate opens at 9:30 so I walked to the gate and arrived around 9:30 but the ticket queue was long. So should arrive here before gate opens a little bit. 

The pamphlet (free) was near the entrance gate. I picked one and got a stamp of Nemophila. 

It was 10 a.m. but had many visitors. 

I took a lot of nemophila photo.

Nagai Botanical Garden has many beautiful flowers not only nemophila. I enjoyed took flowers photo and spent time here for 2.30 hours. Hope you enjoy too!
