The second day of visiting Expo 2025 was sunny day. I still entered the expo at East Gate. My reserved time was 10:00 but I arrived Yumeshima at 9:15 so I must queue up at 10:00 lane. You can bring your mini chair for waiting. Although I arrived before reserved time, I could enter at 10:00 but should come early because the queue was very long.
If you just pass to this page for the first time, please visit the introduction and first part as below:
Expo 2025 at Osaka, Japan (Part1: Introduction and Transportation)
Expo 2025 at Osaka, Japan (Part2: Expo Day1)
E: East Gate Zone
My first day, I walked in the direction of counterclockwise so my second day I walked in clockwise.
I could reserve the time of Japan Pavilion so I still had enough time to visit other pavilion. I saw the long queue in front of USA Pavilion (waiting time should be an hour) so I went to Robot & Mobility Station and Vietnam Pavilion.
Robot & Mobility Station (P14)
You can see the display of robots which changes every month. You can check the schedule on website. In May, the exhibition is VR System (Moon Surface Driving Simulation Experience) etc. You can experience drive the car on the moon surface (simulator). The queue was not long.
Vietnam Pavilion (P15)
Vietnam Pavilion is next to Robot & Mobility Pavilion. The queue was not long. The pavilion was not big but well organized and could exhibit the culture and the major outstanding products.
Qatar Pavilion (P17)
The unique design of pavilion attracted me. The pavilion was surrounded by water so it was not hot while I was waiting for the queue. The design of inside pavilion was also beautiful. I could learn the geographic and understood the overall about Qatar.
Japan Pavilion (E10)
Japan Pavilion is one of pavilions that should not be missed. The concept and displays were interesting. The exhibittion showed the concept of recycle cycle and the innovation, also used the character of Kitty and Doraemon for giving more the explanation. I could walked by myself, no guide. Some areas inside the pavilion was dark so please be careful.
You can buy the souvenirs collaborating with Doraemon character near the exit gate.
It was lunch time. I had bread which bought from Family Mart before entering the expo and bought more snacks. These three boxes were 1500 yen (500 yen each). I thought everything was salty.
Colombia Pavilion (P21)
Colombia Pavilion, the country of beauty is the second country in South America with the most sources of freshwater and one of the top 10 globally so the highlights in the expo will be the nature and culture.
Brazil Pavilion (P26)
Brazil is the world's leading coffee producer and exporter so the coffee food truck is in front ot Brazil Pavilion. Although you do not visit the pavilion, you can still buy the coffee and juice. The price of drinks are as below:
Menu of Food truck
Hot Coffee 648 yen
Hot Latte 702 yen
Hot Almond Milk Latte 702 yen
Iced Coffee 702 yen
Iced Cafe Latte 756 yen
Iced Almond Milk Latte 756 yen
In fact, I thought that Brazil would present about nature and culture but it was not. The first room's theme was black and white plus LED. The displays were unique. The immersive presentation was at the next room.
China Pavilion (P28)
The Baltics Pavilion (S06)
The Baltics Pavilion presented the background of Latvia and Lithuania Countries. The design of this pavilion was simple but it looked great. The explanation also had English subtitle, easy to understand.
Bangladesh Pavilion (C20)
Bangladesh Pavilion is next to Egypt Pavilion. Egypt Pavilion was also interesting but the waiting time was 90 minutes so I visited other pavilions instead.
Bangladesh Pavilion showed
Chile Pavilion (S02)
Commons-B Pavilion (C23)
There were various nations in this pavilion. Reservation is not required and no long queue. You can walk in. Some countries I had never the name before. I was glad to know more about these counries and had opportunity to learn about there culture and the highlights of each country.
That's all for my second day in Expo 2025. The queue on weekends were longer than weekdays. I was tired on waiting for long queue. Some of non reservation pavilions were more interesting so do not waste time too much for queuing and please try to visit the expo in the morning to avoid crowd.
