Travel around Kansai by Kansai Mini Pass (3,000 yen) - Japan

If you are travelling to Kansai and considering JR Pass, Kansai Mini Pass is an alternative for budget travel. Kansai Mini Pass allows unlimited travel in Kansai for 3 days, only 3000 yen (child for half price). You can take Kansai-Airport Rapid Service from Kansai International Airport to city. A separate Limited Express ticket is requied for the Kansai-Airport Express "HARUKA" and other Limited Express trains.

Adult (12 years and over) 3,000 yen

Child: (6-11 years) 1,500 yen

An Adult's or Child's rail pass holder can accompany up to 2 infants (1-5 years old) for free.

Conditions:

- A rail pass user must be holding a passport issued by a foreign government.

- A rail pass user must be entering in Japan as a "短期滞在 (Temporary Visitor) ".

- Individual customers are not allowed to purchase or exchange more than one of the same ticket for the same use period.

- You must present your passport to receive a pass.

Kansai Mini Pass is not expensive and suitable for sightseeing in Kansai but cannot take subway and private railways. Mostly, sightseeing spots in Osaka are accessed by subway and private railways. However, if you are looking for one day pass in Osaka area only, you can buy Enjoy Eco Card (820 yen for weekdays and 620 yen for weekends) for additional pass.
