JR East Super Mario PLAY! TOKYO! Event
FUN! TOKYO! is a project of Nintendo to celebrate 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. in Tokyo area especially on JR Yamanote Line.
JR East Super Mario PLAY! TOKYO! will have 2 projects.
- JR East Super Mario Stamp Rally
Collect digital stamp rally by scanning QR Code reader on your smartphone and get the prizes.
- JR East Super Mario Welcome Place
Special decoroation will be exhibited at 3 locations; Tokyo Station Granroof, Tokyo Station North Passage, Shinjuku Station South Exit
JR East Super Mario Stamp Rally
(1) Period: 8th October - 17th December 2020
* Prizes can be redeemed until 18th December 2020
(2) How to participate
2.1 Find character panels at 35 stations.
*Character panel is a panel printed with QR code that allows you to obtain the character and stamp of each station.
* No pre-registration is required.
2.2 Get a stamp by scan QR code on character panel with your smartphone.- Scan QR code on the character panel with your smartphone. The image of game software on the stamp map will become character of that game. There is no ordering of collecting stamps
2.3 Collect stamps and get the prizes.
Collect stamps of 15 stations, you will receive Original Pass Case prize.

(3) Character panel station and time
3.1 Character panel stations: 35 stations in Tokyo.
3.2 Character panel time
First train until last train (except Tokyo Station, Ueno Station)
* Tokyo Station 7:00 - 23:00, Ueno Station 7:30 - 22:00
(Sundays and public holidays 7:30 - 21:00).
Exhibition Locations
1. Tokyo Station Granroof
A special exhibition of the 35th anniversary of "Super Mario Bros." will appear on the Granroof at Tokyo Station, such as a huge art wall with various characters appearing in the Super Mario series.
* The huge art wall on the 2nd floor of the Granroof will be on display until 23rd November 2020.
* The Granroof 2nd floor deck opens 7:00 - 23:00.
2. Tokyo Station North Passage
Mario's history design are displayed on the wall.
3. Shinjuku Station South Exit
Popular scenes of "Super Mario Bros." will appear on the wall inside the south ticket gate.
JR East Super Mario Stamp Rally Online
You can participate in this event from anywhere in Japan.
JR East Super Mario Stamp Rally Online will be held from 10th November - 17th December 2020.
