(Review) Paco Business Hotel Jiangtai Metro Station Branch - Guangzhou, China

I stayed at Paco Business Hotel Jiangtai Metro Station Branch, Guangzhou for 3 nights. I booked 2 superior rooms on Agoda website. Total price was CNY 2,200 for 2 rooms including breakfast (deduct from credit card discount). Hotel nearyby was restaurants, supermarkets and subway station. It was easy to access the hotel by subway but I travelled with my parents so I took the private charter car.

Access

Public Transportation: Take metro line 3 from Baiyun International Airport, interchange at Jiahewanggang to metro line 2 to Jiangtai Road Station (Exit C). Fare was CNY 8 and duration was 1 hour approximately.

You can download map in full version on
Guangzhou International Website

Private car: I booked the car via KKDay website.  I contact the driver by wechatThe driver spoke Chinese but don't worry wechat application has english translation. If you travel with a group, private car is more convenient. On the arrival day, it was rainy day but private car helped me a lot. I booked the car both arrival and departure day and I met the same driver. The car was comfortable. It took almost 1 hour from airport to hotel.

The hotel was on the right side of the photo but the hotel elevator was on the left building (the first floor was seafood restaurant). If you take an elevator up, you must use your keycard before press the floor button.

I checked in at the hotel in the afternoon and staff could not speak English but the staff has a translator. I got an upgrade rooms.

This hotel provides free shuttle bus to Canton Fair. You can inform the staff if you need this service.

Check in time: 14:00

Check out time: 12:00

Complimentary drink and snacks at the lobby.

Room was big, clean and comfortable. You can adjust the air temperature on the wall (near the door), no remote controller. Do not forget to inform staff when you book the room if you prefer non smoking room.

A separate bathroom and toilet.

Body Lotion, Handwash, Toothbrush & Toothpaste, Comb, Tea, Coffee, Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Dryer were provided. No refrigerator.

Breakfast room started from 7:30 a.m. Please be careful the restaurant will be crowded during Canton Fair and no seat available during 7:30-8:30. If it is possible, come to restaurant earlier a little bit or after 8:30. Many guests who stay here have breakfast and wait for free shuttle bus to fair.

I loved breakfast here. Food were served in western and chinese, various and yummy.

Let's see what are nearby hotel. The red circles are malls where not far from hotel.

Vanke Li (万科里), a shopping mall closed to Jiangtai Station. Just going straight from hotel about 2 minutes. There are food kiosk, restaurants, Miniso, Apparel shops e.g. (Uniqlo, Camel), Hotmaxx, bakery shop (e.g. Breadtalk, MX cakes). The shops are on 1st floor and basement floor.  Toilets are easy to find.

Instant noodles in Hotmaxx were cheap.

Keep walking to another side of Vanke Li, you will see Yanhui Plaza in the opposite side.

Yanhui Plaza has restaurants, beverage shops, supermarket, cosmetic shops, game zone and etc.

Hui Shun Duo Supermarket was really big supermarket and the goods price were reasonable, located on the 3rd floor. You can buy souvenirs, snacks, drinks here.

I heard that Lay's Lemon and Cucumber were recommended for souvenirs but I bought only Lemon taste (the blue one). It was a little salty.

The day 2, I had dinner at Saizeriya restaurants at Yanhui Plaza. Saizeriya is Japanese chain restaurants (Italian cuisine). The price was not expensive and and it was yummy. The below price was for 3 persons.
