Osaka Museum of Housing and Living - Osaka, Japan




Osaka Museum of Housing and Living is a place where simulate the buildings and street in the past of Osaka. The house shows the way how people lived.
Here was good museum, we can study the history and culture in the past. 


Access

Tenjibashisuji 6-chome Exit 3 (Tanimachi or Sakisuji Subway Line)
Take the passageway follow the sign "Osaka Musuem of Housing and Living" to the building, then take elevator to 8th Floor.


Admission Fee: 600 yen
Closed: Tuesday
Opening Hours: 10.00-17.00 

When I arrived the 8th floor, purchased the ticket.
First, took the escalator up and could see this scenery from top. 
There was the miniatures of Japan's house.



An interesting activity here should not miss. We can rent Kimono and walk around here for 30 minutes but cannot go to other floors.
Don't worry! There are lockers for keep your belonging.
You need to select the color of kimono that you like and inform staff. 
They will help you to dress up.


If you come here alone, can ask for staff to help you to take photo.
The light in this room would be adjusted like in the morning or at night.



After 30 minutes, returned the kimono, went to other floors.
The museum were interesting. 
Other floors or some specific area, photo taking is prohibited. 

Apart from this museum in Osaka, Osaka Museum of History is also interesting place where gathers the history of Osaka.
