A Bomb Dome (Peace Memorial Park) - Hiroshima, Japan

A Bomb Dome  (Peace Memorial Park) is one of symbols which remind the situation in the past of Hiroshima. This was designated as World Heritage Site.
Around this area consists of monuments and museum.

I went to A Bomb Dome at Hiroshima in the afternoon because in the morning, I went to Miyajima

From Hiroshima station, take tram to Genbaku-Domu Mae station.

How to get to tram station from Nishi Hiroshima station

I came from Miyajima so I took the JR from  Miyajimaguchi station to Nishi-Hiroshima station. After got off the station, walk straight for 2 minutes, turn right (follow the yellow sign). Walk straight and Hiroden-Nishi-Hiroshima station is on left side.

This is Hiroden's fare.

From Hiroshima Electric Railway website.

Wait at platform no. 2.

Arrive at Genbaku-Domu Mae station. Walk a little bit. A Bomb Dome is front of you.

Apart of A Bomb Dome, there were other interesting things.
This park was beautiful and peaceful.

Children's peace monument

Cenotaph for A-bomb Victims was near Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
Don't forget to visit the Museum. The entrance fee is only 50 yen.
Many students had field trip here. If you have some notebook, there is cute stamp near the exit of museum.

When go back to Hiroshima station, just take the same tram from Genbaku-Domu Mae station to Hiroshima station (terminal station).
