The weather is hot in summer but the visitors can enjoy the flower fields especially Furano and Biei. The popular sightseeing spots are Tomita Farm, Shirogane Blue Pond, Shikisai no Oka flower park and etc. The sightseeing tour bus are convenient for tourists. There are variety tours and the price is reasonable.
Access to Furano / Biei
Furano Lavender Express is direct train which takes only 2 hours between Sapporo and Furano. The train is available only specific period. If you miss the direct train, you can transit at Asahikawa Station or Takikawa Station. The indirect train takes time more than 2 hours or may be 3 hours.

If you would like to visit Tomita Farm, get off at Lavender-Farm Station. Before going to Furano, you may visit Biei and take sightseeing bus first,

Furano Kururu Bus
Furano Kururu Bus is another sightseeing bus in Furano. The operating period is 6 July - 10 August 2019. The price is 4,000 yen for adult and 3,000 yen for child. If you would like take the tour only in Furano, the tour is worth as the price already includes admission fee. The tour starts at 10:15 and finish at 17:30. You can buy the ticket at Furano Tourism Center and Concierge Furano 1st Floor.
Furano Biei Rail Ticket
The ticket for travelling in Furano and Biei area. The sales period until 28 October 2019 and usable from 27 April-31 October 2019. The ticket price is 6,500 yen and 3,250 for child (6-11 years old) which valid for 4 days.
Lavender One Day Ticket
Leaves from Asahikawa Station. Sales period is until 31 October 2019. Usable period 27 April - 31 October 2019. The ticket is valid only 1 day. The price is 2,500 yen for adult and 1,250 yen for child (6-11 years). You can take unlimited rides on local train (non-reserved seat) within the Free-ride section. You can also board Furano Biei Train and the non-reserved seat of the Furano-Biei Norokko Train.
