Stockholm View at Katarinahissen (Katarina Elevator) - Stockholm, Sweden

I woke up early in the morning but mostly sightseeing spots and department stores open around 10:30-11:00 a.m. I did not want to waste my time. I found one place which could see panorama view which was Katarinahissen (Katarina Elevator). It's free admission. I arrived Katarinahissen around 8 a.m. so the weather was fresh, really felt good in the morning.

Access

Slussen station.
Regarding to the below map, Katarinahissen is short walk from Slussen station.

Get off at Slussen Station (One station from Gamla Stan / Two Stations from T-Centralen).
This station seems a busy station. There were staff who checked your train ticket in front of exit gate. Just show ticket to staff and get off station. Normally, I did not see staff check the ticket.

When get off at the station, turn right and you will see elevator and McDonald's in front of you (as below photo). Cross the road. Go to the left side of McDonald's.

Gondolen Restaurant is on the right side.

Walk inside the building. There are two elevators; the left side is for 2 persons and the right side is for 5 persons. The door of elevator does not open automatically. You need to open by yourself.

Going up to 12th floor. On that time, I saw no one on 12th floor because it was still early in the morning and it was working day. When I arrived 12th floor, there was a door in front of me. I was not sure if I opened the door, it would locked automatically or not. I was afraid that I could not go back so I tested it. I told my brother to open the door and walk out first. If a door was locked, I still could open the door for him. I found that the door was not locked, it was great. On 12th floor, there is passage to other building.

It was windy and cold but I could see panorama view of Stockholm city from top. In the evening, you can see the sunset.
