Cherry Blossom (Sakura) Viewing Spots in Osaka, Japan

Hanami (花見) or Cherry Blossom Viewing is very popular activity when travel to Japan in Spring. We can enjoy the beautiful blooming flowers with the good weather. Osaka is one of popular cities in Japan for Hanami. Normally, cherry blossoms bloom in late March until early or mid April. The peak period is early April. Sakura blooms only for short period.
The average temperature in April at Osaka is 15 - 20°C approximately but in the morning
and at night the temperature is still cold. Please check the weather forecast before travelling.

1. Osaka Castle

For me, Cherry blossom viewing at the garden near Osaka Castle, is the best spots.
There are many cherry blossom trees along the footpath.
The garden is huge. It takes time to walk from garden to Osaka Castle.
Many people also have a picnic. Someone takes his/her pet for a walk.
