Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street - Osaka, Japan

Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai is long shopping street (more than 2 kms.) in Osaka, Japan.
It is located near Osaka Museum of Housing and Living. It is the same station but the exit no. is different so can arrange as one day trip. The colorful of Torii Gates on ceiling are noticeable here. There are many shops such as clothes, shoes, books and restaurants. Price are reasonable.

Access

1. Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station, exit no.8 on Tanimachi Line (Purple Line) or Sakaisuji Line (Brown Line)  or
2. JR Osaka Tenmagu Station or
3. Minamimorimachi Station on the Tanimachi and Sakaisuji Subway Lines

There are 7 chome. If get off at Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station, the shopping street starts from 7 chome to 1 chome.
If get off at JR Osaka Tenmagu Station or Minamimorimachi Station, the shopping streets starts from 2 or 3 chome.

People who go shopping here were not much and crowded like Namba or Shinsaibashi areas. Most of shops are local. I visited there around 11 a.m. Shops were already opened but there were not much people. The restaurants were opened around 11 a.m.

Desserts attracted me. Looked so delicious.

There are many kind of products along this shopping street.
If you like the local products or local shops, it is good for spending time here.
If you like the fashion or modern style of products, Namba and Shinsaibashi seems to be your answer.

24 hours Supermarket names Tamade Super (玉出 スーパー)has many branches around Osaka. My accommodation was near Tamade Supermarket but different location so I often went there. I recommend to buy snacks, fresh food, ingredients here because the products are fresh and price is cheap except the cosmetics. It is located on 4 chome.
