Osaka Museum of History - Osaka, Japan

Osaka Museum of History is located next to NHK Osaka and near Osaka Castle.
This museum is interesting. Can study about history of Osaka. It is well organized.
I impress the way to present the exhibition. There are permanent and special exhibitions. The special exhibitions is required additional ticket. Photo taking is allowed only some specific area but flash is prohibited.

Just go straight from the train station until you see NHK Building on right side.

Entrance fee: 600 yen

Here is the detail about the exhibition:

10th floor is The Ancient Period Floor.
9th Floor: Middle Ages and Early Modern Period
8th Floor: Excavating the Past and Featured Exhibition Floor.
7th Floor: Modern and Contemporary Period Floor. I like the exhibition of this floor. The presentation is interesting.
6th Floor: Special Exhibition Hall

After I purchased the ticket, took the elevator to the 10th floor.
The explanation is mostly written in Japanese and few English.

After visited the 10th floor, need to take escalator down to 9th floor and so on(cannot take elevator). While I was walking down, I saw the view of Osaka Castle.
Visiting Osaka Castle and Osaka Museum of History can be a plan for one day trip.

On 8th Floor, there was small activities. The exhibition was presented in easy way to understand. The staff recommended me to try this jigsaw and they tried to cheer up me, really fun.

I like the exhibition on 7th floor. The model were in large scale and look like the real one.
The atmosphere like take me back to the past.
