You may ever heard Royce, a name of Japanese chocolate. Many tourists buy Royce chocolate as a souvenir. Royce' Cacao & Chocolate Town opened on 4th August 2023, located in Tobetsu Town, Hokkaido. The visitors can see the mold chocolate production line, learn about the cacao cultivation and processing, enjoy the workshop and buy souvenirs.

Public Transportation
Take JR Gakuentoshi Line (For Hokkaido-Iryodaigaku) from JR Sapporo Station to ROYCE' Town Station (540 yen, 30-32 minutes). You can walk (7 minutes, 550 m.) or take free shuttle bus.

About the ticket
Advance bookings (with date and time specified) are required for entry. Please purchase your tickets in advance.
Please make bookings in advance for children under age 3 as well.
Payment can be made by credit card only.
This ticket does not include admission for the Chocolate Workshop. On the day of your visit, please purchase tickets from the ticket machine in front of the workshop venue after you enter. (Bookings are not available for the workshop.)
Tickets can be booked and purchased up to 1 hour before admission.

When you arrive Royce' Cacao & Chocolate Town, please show your QR code on your smartphone or print out on A4 or letter size paper
The lockers are available on the 1st floor for storing any baggage (free of charge). Lockers are only available for use on the day of your visit (during opening hours).
The first floor is free area. You can see the mold chocolate production line and ROYCE’ Shop. ROYCE’ Town Factory Shop offers over 200 types of chocolates and baked confections. You can purchase the products and eat them in eat-in area zone.
The second zone is Cacao Farm Zone. The visitors can learn the cacao cultivation that ROYCE’ is involved in.
The third zone is Factory Tour Zone. The visitors can take a tour of cacao processing, also play the games.
The fourth zone is workshop. Create your own chocolate by putting the topping on chocolate bar and put in special package as souvenirs. Time required is 30 minutes. Admission fee for adults & children are 1,500 yen per person. Purchase a ticket from the ticket machine in front of the Workshop venue and give it to the staff at the entrance.

The fifth zone is ROYCE’ Collection Street. The exhibition display chocolate labels, tins, and ect. related with chocolate from around the world as well as other items that show the packaging and history of ROYCE’.
