Biei Winter Illumination Course 2025-2026 - Biei, Hokkaido

Biei Winter Illumination Course will take you to beautiful snow cover hill, blue pond and Shirahige Waterfall. The sceneries of winter are different from summer but both are beautiful. It is day trip, only 2-3 hours. The meeting point is Biei Tourism Assocation (1 minute walk from JR Biei Station).

November 2025 - February 2026 Course

Operation Period: 14 November 2025 - 14 February 2026. 

(Friday, Saturday including 21 December 2025 and Holidays except 2-3 January 2026)

Price: Adult 4,000 yen / Child (6-12 years old) 2,000 yen

Free for children under 5 years old but if they require a seat, the price is the same as the child fare.

Advance reservations are made up to 3 days before the departure date (17:00)

Please contact tourism association 1F bus tour counter at least 15 minutes before departure time.

Biei Tourism Association (16:35 Departure)

Biei Senka (stops about 15 minutes)

It is a shop sells Biei's local agricultural products and processed foods.

            ↓

Shirogane Biruke-no-mori (about 25 minutes)

            ↓

Shirogane Blue Pond (about 40 minutes stop ) 

            ↓

Shirahige-no-Taki Falls (stops about 25 minutes)

　        ↓

Arrival JR Biei Station (19:30 Arrival)

Remarks

1. Passengers withour a bus ticket are not able to board the bus even if there are vacant seats. Please check-in and receive your bus tickets at bus counter in Biei Tourism Association at least 15 minutes before bus departs.

2. The bus will leave on time so please be on time.

3. The tourist spots may be changed upon the road conditions (weather, sunset time, traffic jams).

4. All the seats are reserved. Please refrain from moving to other seat.

5. Luggage can be stored in the bus luggage compartment for free.

6. Please be sure to keep your valuables and tour ticket with you during the tour.
