Ameyoko is shopping street in Tokyo from JR Ueno station to JR Okamachi Station.
There are several and many kinds of shops such as shoes, clothes, food, cosmetics and etc. If visit this shopping street in the morning, there are not much people. If you come here after noon or in the weekend, may have a lot of people. Mostly, the shops sell the fashion products but not much modern like in Shinjuku. The price of products are average.

1. JR Ueno Station, Central Gate Exit / JR Okamachi Station, North Exit.
2. Ueno Station (Tokyo Metro), Exit 5a, 5b, 6
Ameyoko is near JR Yamanote Line (Green Line) so you can follow the train line and you will arrive the shopping street. It is not far from the train station.
There are many restaurants and the price is reasonable but the seats are limited.
This restaurant (as below photo) seems popular in this street. If you love sashimi, you should try this. Price starts from 500 yen/dish.
You can buy some fresh ingredients for cooking.
Many tourists like to buy sneakers here because of reasonable price and has many styles of shoes. Tax-free shops is also available.
