(Review) Hej Taipei Hotel - Taipei, Taiwan

Visiting Taipei and looking for hotel, the tourists prefer staying around Ximen area because you can find many restaurants and it is good for shopping. This time I recommend Hej Taipei 艾爾行旅 Hotel which is located in the eastern district business district in downtown Taipei, only 3 stations from Taipei Main Station. The location is very convenient, close to MRT Station and shopping district.  Hej Taipei is not Hej Arena Hotel. It is different hotel, please do not be confuse.

Address: 7F., No. 87, Sec. 4, Zhongxiao E. Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan

Take MRT to Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (BL15 / BR10).

After you get off the station, follow the sign to exit no. 3,4,5. You will see Mister Donut Shop. 

Go to the left side, follow MIKI Plaza and walk to exit no. 14. There are escalator and elevator. 

Moreover, there are stairs at the exit no. 11. This exit is in front of hotel building.

If you get off exit no.14, you will see COSMED. Then, turn right and you will see Mcdonald's at the corner. Turn left and go straight (pass Bee Cheng Hiang) until you see Orange Juice Shop. You will see Hej Taipei Sign on top. The hotel is located in the office building.

Take the elevator to the 7th floor. 

Lobby, rooms, breakfast room are on the 7th floor.

You can take snack for free. 

I booked twin room (no window) via Agoda but I got window room. My room rate was 6,737.24 TWD (3 nights) included breakfast, got some discount from credit card. Hotel provided 2 key cards room. Air conditioning was controlled by centre. I tried to adjust temperature but could not. If you would like to staff cleaning the room, just put the magnet "clean the room" in front of the room. The magnet was at back of the door. In fact, towels were changed and filled up the tea / coffee everyday. Room is clean and comfortable.

The first bed is close to the door room.

Another bed is near the window. There are 2 televisions. Two Slippers are provided.

Free tea, coffee, snacks are on the table and drinking waters are in the refrigerator.

The shower is on the left side. Shampoo, hair conditioner and shower gel are provided in small bottle. 

Amenities: Toothbrush, shower cap, razor, cotton buds, hari dryer. 

Breakfast are provided 7:00-10:00. The menus are the same everyday.

Bread with jams, hams, cheese, chicken, tuna, cereal, orange juice

Boiled rice and side dishes such as kimchi, prok floss and etc., orange, apple.

Jasmine Tea, Milk Tea, Oolong tea (box) are in the refrigerator.

After you finish your meal, you have to return the dish by yourself.

FYI, Carrefour supermarket (24 hours) is next to COSMED shop. There are fresh products including bread, vegetable, fruits. You can also buy souvenirs here.

I love Ten Ren Tea especially Jasmine and Oolong tea (50 bags, 104 TWD)

The underground shopping (East Metro Mall) is between Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station to Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT Station. The shops open from 11:00. The shops sell fashion apparels, cosmetics. There are convenience store and food shop (not much).
