(Review) Hotel 81 Dickson - Singapore

Hotel 81 Dickson is budget hotel located in Little India area. Rooms have both windows and no windows. I preferred rooms with window but the price is a little bit higher. Check-in time is 14:00 and check out time is 11:00. I booked 2 superior twin room. One room provides refrigerator but another does not have. Room rate was 100 SGD approximately / room / night. The location of hotel is good for taking bus & mrt and shopping. 

Access

Hotel is close to Jalan Besar MRT Station (DT22 / Downtown line), exit B (walk 150 m.) and bus stop Jln Besar Stn Exit A (Stop ID: 07529). Bus stop is in the opposite site of hotel. Bus number at this station 23, 64, 65, 67, 130, 139, 147, 857. MRT Station exit A and B have elevators.

I arrived hotel around 3 p.m. so I could check-in and leave the luggage before going outside.

Lobby is on the first floor. The hotel has elevator.

Room has enough space (not small room) for walking around and put the luggage. Staff told me that the room will be cleaned on the 2nd day (I stayed here for 3 days). It's ok for me, save environment. In fact, the rooms were cleaning everyday and early in the morning. Changed new towels, floor was cleaned and provide drinking water.   

The hotel provides 3-in-1 instant tea and coffee, 2 bottles of drinking water, toothbrushes with toothpastes. Hair dryer is in the drawer. Cloth hangers are in the wardrobe (below safe box).  

The pillow is flat. The bed is not too hard too soft. I could not adjust the temperature of air conditioner as it was center controlled. 

Restroom is a little bit small but still ok. One towel for each person (no face towel / hair towel so you can bring your own). Shower gel is on the wall. It is indicated for bathing and shampoo but I brought my own shampoo.
