Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre and Benjakitti Park - Bangkok, Thailand

Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC) is convention center where helds many exhibitions and events, located in Bangkok. After the big renovation of QSNCC, it is now re-open. Sustainability Expo was my first visit after this renovation. Moreover, Thailand will host the 29th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting during 14 – 19 November 2022 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.

Access

QSNCC is easily access by public transportation and your own car.

BTS / MRT: Take the BTS Skytrain to Asok interchange station, then transfer to the MRT subway. When you arrive at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center MRT Station, take exit 3 to connect to the QSNCC lower ground level.

Bus: The public bus routes 136 and 185 stop right in front of QSNCC. The main entrance is within a short walk from the bus stop.

After get off MRT station, you will see the restaurants and cafe.

Go straight to the exhibition hall. Firstly, I went to Food Fest hall. I impressed the nice design and well organization of the event. There were lot of people even I visited the hall in the morning. You can check other event calendar on QSNCC website.

I entered Food Fest Hall. Actually, the exhibition focuses on the sustainbility but when I saw the food shops, I went straight to there.

The popular restaurants were in this exhibition and many people waited for the queue to buy the food.

Next, move to the next hall. It's Kids Zone.

I spent few hours in QSNCC. Next, took a break and had something to eat. As below photo on the right side on the 2nd floor, there are conveninence stores and on the 1st floor has rest area and vending machine.

Convenience stores; 7-Eleven and Mini Big C are on the 2nd floor. The good prices are not different from the outside stores. You can buy some food or drink are sit around this area.

I recommend Tao Bin (เต่าบิน) vending machine. Tao (เต่า) means turtle so you can see turtle logo on this vending machine. It's now popular in Thailand. You can buy some drinks from this machine. There are a lot of drinks; tea, coffee. Price is not expensive. It is not instant drinks but it has some process, like the staff bew tea or coffee in the cafe. You can select the sweet level. I order the matcha tea (25 Baht).

Let's walk to Benjakitti Park. It is located next to QSNCC.

The park is tranquil even located in downtown area. You can see people exercise here especially in the morning and evening.
