YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, Ropeway in Yokohama - Japan

Yokohama is the capital city of Kanagawa prefecture and takes only half an hour from Tokyo. The popular attractions in Yokohama are China Town, Minato Mirai, Ramen Museum, Cup Noodle Museum and etc. 

YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN is the first and newest urban-type circular ropeway. The operation started on 22nd April 2021. The ropeway connects the front of JR Sakuragichō Station and Unga Park in the Shinko District.  The visitors will enjoy the cityscape view  of Minato Mirai, including Yokohama Cosmo World, World Porters, HAMMERHEAD, and Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama.

The maximum capacity of each cabin is 8 passengers. The distance is 630 m. per one way and takes about 5 minutes. No need for advance reservation. The visitor can purchase the ticket at the ticket office.

・Persons who would like to purchase a set of tickets for YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN and Giant Ferris Wheel “COSMO CLOCK 21”

・Persons who have a physical disability certificate or would like to use various discounts

Children (11 years of age and younger) cannot ride alone. At least one adult (admission charge paid, 12 years of age and older) per cabin must accompany a child on the ride.

Children under the age of 3 ride for free.

・ In purchasing a set of tickets, please note that business days and hours of YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN and Giant Ferris Wheel “COSMO CLOCK 21” may differ.
