(Review) Eastin Thana City Golf Resort Bangkok - Samut Prakarn, Thailand

Eastin Thana City Golf Resort Bangkok is located within the grounds of the Thana City Country Club at Samut Prakarn (Near Bangkok). I cannot play golf but just want to travel somewhere nearby Bangkok and is not a city view. I joined Rao Tiew Duay Kan (We Travel Together) program. This program is launched by Thai government and cooperate with The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The government will subsidise hotel accommodation at 40% of normal room rates and we pay 60%. This resort is also in the list of this campaign.

Access

Eastin Thana City Golf Resort Bangkok is not far from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The room rate is included transfer from the airport.

I drove the car to the front building for check-in and then, drove to the parking lot near the accommodation to drop my luggage. 

Here is the lobby. Check-in time is 14:00 and check out time is 12:00.

Welcome drink (Butterfly pea juice)

This is accommodation. Security here is good. There is security guard at night in front of the building. You must use key card touching near the door before entering to the building. I got the room on first floor. 

I satisfy the room, good service, atmosphere and breakfast. The room rate is not expensive at all. Good weather and quiet.

As I joined Rao Tiew Duay Kan campaign, I booked the room on Agoda and paid the money in advance. I booked 2 superior rooms. I asked for twin bed. You can also choose double bed. Room rates are 1,700 Baht approximately per night and for 2 rooms. The price included breakfast. 

Plenty walking space in the room. There are 3 pillows on bed. Bed is comfortable. 

Free Tea (English breakfast, pepper mint), cofee, including coffee creamer, sugar (white and brown). Two drinking water bottles are in the bathroom. Snacks and instant noodle have extra charge. 

Bathrobes, umbrella, slippers are in the wardobe.

Two drinking water bottles are next to tissue box. There is no bathtub, only shower. 

Amenities; soap, cotton buds, shower cap, sanitary bag, shampoo, shower gel.

Next, swimming pool is quite large. There are lifeguards at each point.

At the back of swimming pool is golf course. I could see airplane landing. 

Playground for kids and fitness room are near swimming pool.

Moreover, you can play tennis, squash but has additional charge. 

I had dinner and breakfast here (Shark Bite Restaurant), near golf course.

Dinner is not included in room rate. I ate Tom Yum Talay Pizza (8 pieces, 280 Baht).

Skip to breakfast at same room. Just tell your room number to staff.

It is a la carte buffet due to COVID-19. The staff has the list of menu, then you choose.

1. Beverage; orange juice, watermelon juice and grape juice. Then tea or coffee.

2. Cereal.

3. Salad.

4. Bread; chocolate croissant, toast.

5. Egg; boil egg, star egg, scramble egg, omelette.

6. Ham and sausages (chicken and pork).

7. Boiled rice or congee (If you don't want to add egg, please inform staff)

8. Fruit.

Trust me, no need to order all in once. Each dish is big. You can order more if you are not full.
