JR EAST Welcome Rail Pass 2020 allows unlimited rides on the Shinkansen and limited express trains within the JR East trains area of Tokyo, Tohoku, Nagano, and Niigata for three consecutive days during specific period. This pass is for foreign passport holders.

Tickets can be picked up at the dedicated terminal at Ueno Station (pick up date from 17th October.
After receiving the rail pass, you can receive reserve seat ticket at the counter or ticket vending machine.
You can pass through the automatic ticket gate within valid period and valid areas.
