Melon Farm & Cafe in Chacheongsao, Thailand

During the long holiday, I looked for nearby Bangkok sightseeing place so I selected Chacheongsao, Thailand for my day trip. Chacheongsao is close to Bangkok, just only 1 hour for driving. There are many interesting attractions in Chacheongsao. I do not want to go to department store, hence I visited Melon Farm where is easy to access.

Open google website and search "S.C. Farm & Cafe". Using Motorway No.7 Bangkok-Pattaya Route and get off Bang Pakong exit (Not Chacheongsao Exit). Pass intersection and you will see the giant melon on your left side (as below photo), then turn left.

S.C. Farm & Cafe is melon farm and cafe, also has photoshoot spots. The below photo is cafe and restaurant. Cafe opens at 7:00-18:00 and restaurant opens at 09:00-17:00. Both cafe and restaurant opens during Tuesday-Sunday, close on Monday.

I arrived here at 11:15 a.m. so I took photo before entering to cafe. Many people visit the farm after 12:00 p.m. There are enough parking. Toilets are clean and near the parking. I recommend you to wear the clothes any colors except the green because the color seems close to melon color.

Walkway to Giant Melon. Farm sells small lemon tree 120 baht / pot. If you are interested in, you can contact staff. Lemon trees are close to this walkway.

Turn back to see melon greenhouse. No entrance fee.

There are 6 greenhouses. You can see melon and take photo but do not touch it. If you want to buy it, please contact staff. Melon farm zone which opens to tourists is not a big area but enough to get closer to melon.

I had lunch at restaurant near the farm. Restaurant accepts only cash. You can see the menus on facebook. Price of each menu is cheap and taste is nice. Price of dishes are follow:

Fish maw soup 50 Baht
Sichuan Noodle 60 Baht
Melon cake 65 Baht
Melon smoothie 50 Baht
Rice (bowl) 10 Baht
Lemon jucie (bottle) 40 Baht

You can buy souvenirs such as instant corn soup, heart shaped watermelon, melon, lemon juice and etc.
