Flying to Japan and Transit at Singapore

Normally, I select the direct flight flying from Thailand to Japan. This was the first time I selected indirect flight flying to Japan and transit at Singapore. I chose Singapore Airlines because of the price and quality. The ticket price is around 14,xxx baht (almost 50,000 yen) for round trip. The departure time was the night time and the arrival time at Japan was the morning around 8 a.m.

The plane between Bangkok and Singapore is quite new and modern. I had pleasant flight. The meal was ok. The earphone was in front of gate. You can get it before going to your seat.

Singapore Changi Airport has 4 terminals building so I must check the terminal number carefully. You can check the arrival terminal number and terminal map on the screen in front of the seat on airplane. Beware of the transit time. My transit time was 2 hours approximately. I always check the gate number on screen but the trip flying back to Bangkok and transit at Singapore, the gate number was changed for 2 times so I run and run.

There is luggage check in front of the gate so please arrive earlier otherwise has long queue. Actually, there will be a notification message sends to your email when the gate is changed.

I just look around the shops. Each terminal is large. I went to Singapore for twice but many years ago, arrived at Terminal 1. This time I arrived Terminal 2 and 3.

I got free coupon from Changi Transit Coupon for S$20. The information about the coupon reward is below.

Free wi-fi is available but you must go to wi-fi register area and insert the passport for acquiring the wifi password.

You can use travel between terminals by walking or free skytrain service.
