(Review) Garden Cliff Resort And Spa (Pattaya) - Chonburi, Thailand

Garden Cliff Resort And Spa is located in Soi 16 Naklua (North Pattaya). This resort has own beach and good ambiance. It takes 5 minutes by car from the main street but If you don't drive, it takes 20 minutes walk. There is free wifi but the signal is weak and limited. The passwords provided are used for maximum 2 devices only so I connect with 4G and wifi. Check current room rate, click here.

The check-in time is 2 p.m. I arrived hotel at 2:05 p.m. but waited for check-in about 20 minutes. The staff gave me welcome drink while I was waiting at lobby and there was a nice breeze so I did not mind.

I booked Sea View Beluxe with Balcony room. Room size is big with acceptable price. Room rate includes breakfast. Bed is comfortable.

The living zone and mini desk near the bed. 

There are free drinking water and tea / coffee.

I could see Sanctuary of Truth and sea from the balcony. The Novotel Hotel is next to this hotel.

Bathroom is big. You can choose either shower or the bathtub.

Amenities: Shampoo, shower gel, soap, shower cap
There are bathrobe and sandals in the wardrobe.  

There are swimming pools (including kid's pool), kid's club, white sand and private beach.
Regarding the first and left photo, go down and you will see another swimming pool and beach. Breakfast room is on the 2nd floor on the left side near swimming pool. A lot of people from group tour go to breakfast room early in the morning. That's why the room is crowded. I recommend to go to breakfast room after 7:30 a.m. 

You can see Sanctuary of Truth (the left and bottom photo) from the beach. The entrance fee for Sanctuary of Truth is 500 baht/person so I just take photo from here only. If you would like to visit Sanctuary of Truth, go to Soi Naklua 12. 

Let me conclude the pros and cons as below:

Pros

- Room rate is not expensive (2,xxx baht for twin room).
- Close to the beach.
- There is kid's club, good for family.
- Room size is big and clean.
- Free shuttle service to downtown Pattaya
- Convenience stores are close to hotel
- A lot of parking lot.

Cons

- Wi-fi signal is poor.
- The hotel is located almost 2 km. from the main road.
- Sometimes, the noisy from group tour.
- Check-in process is slow
