One Day Trip in Wakayama - Wakayama, Japan

Wakayama has several sightseeing places. It takes only 40 minutes from Kansai Airport to Wakayama. You can plan for one day trip from Osaka or plan for 2 days trip in Wakayama. I used to review the travel from Osaka to Wakayama, click here. If you travel to many prefectures in Kansai, I recommend Kansai Thru Pass. It also covers the bus fare in Wakayama.

Wakayama-shi station and Wakayama station are not the same station. Wakayama-shi station is operated by Nankai Electric Railway while Wakayama Station is by JR. You can take the train or bus traveling between these 2 stations.

There are departments, restaurants, supermarket at Wakayama station

On Wakayama Bus website, the timetable is in Japanese. I translated the timetable to English.
