(Review) Hotel Consort - Osaka, Japan

Hotel Consort Osaka is 3 stars hotel. The hotel is very close to subway station and Hankyu Line. Mostly, the visitors would like to stay at the hotel near Namba or Umeda but the rooms are often fully booked and expensive, right? This hotel is not around Namba or Umeda but it is convenient. I recommend this hotel if you also want to travel to Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe because it is not far from Shin-Osaka Station. FYI, shinkansen or bullet train connects at Shin-Osaka Station.

Access

- Nishinakajima minamigata Station (Midosuji Subway Line / Red Line), exit no.2. 
One minute walk. (There is an elevator)

- Minamikata Station (Hankyu Line), 1-2 minutes walk. 

- JR Shin-Osaka Station, 15 minutes walk.

Nishinakajima minamigata station (very long name) is only 1 station from Shin-Osaka Station or 2 stations from Umeda Station. Be Careful, make sure you take the right train. Some trains on Midosuji line does not run to Senri-Chuo (Terminal Station) but to Nakatsu only. It means that the train does not pass Nishinakajima minamigata Station.

Nishinakajima minamigata Station
 - Get off the station and turn left. Cross the road. The hotel is on your left side.

Minamikata Station 
 - Get off the station and turn left. Go straight and turn left until you see the junction. Turn left. The hotel is on the left side.



 
Regarding the above map, convenience stores are near hotel. The location of hotel is good, near the train station, several restaurants and drug stores. You can take subway from Shin-Osaka Station to Nishinakajima minamigata station. Moreover, you can do small shopping around hotel. 

I booked 2 twin rooms. Check current room rate, click here. Although they are non-smoking room, I smelt the smoke in one room but the another room is normal so I used the refresher (it is in the room) and opened the window. I think it is normal in Japan even the hotel has the rule of non-smoking in the room but some guests break this rule. 

Facilities: Free wi-fi, hair dryer, tea & cofee, tv, refrigerator
Bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Room size is Japan's standard. Room rate is reasonable.

There are shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, razor, toothbrush, towel in the bathroom. You can also pick up the small kits for women at reception i.e. lotion.
