One Day Trip in Copenhagen (Part 1) - Copenhagen, Denmark

There are many sightseeing places in Copenhagen, Denmark. I bought daily tour online for sightseeing. I recommend the daily tour if you have less time or come with your family. For me, this is convenient because some sightseeing places are located far away from downtown area and my parents do not need to take the train, take the bus, then change the bus and so on. Before reviewing my one day trip, I would like to explain about tour types.

1. Bike Tours: Biking around Copenhagen with city tour. Website
2. Boat Tours: Canal Tours' Grand Tour of Copenhagen is free tour covered by Copenhagen Card.
3. Bus Tours: Sightseeing around the city. There are Hop on Hop Off (HOHO) tour, Panorama tour, private tour.

3.1 Hop On Hop Off (HOHO): Visit sightseeing places by bus. You can get on and get off the bus as much as you like. There are audio guided. HOJO has Mermaid Tour and Boat Tour. Mermaid Tour includes several attractions such as Nyhavn, Amalienborg, Palace, Tivoli, The Little Mermaid and etc. Please be careful and check bus timetable, there are only 1-2 bus per hour.

3.2 Panorama Tour: Visit major sightseeing places with bus. Everyone in group tour visits each sightseeing place together from first to last stop. Staff on the bus will announce departure time at each spot but do not explain the history or detail of each place because they already provide the audio guided.

4. Walking Tours: Visit sightseeing places by foot. Copenhagen Free Walking Tours offers a free tour of the city everyday. The Tours are in English. Website.

Where to buy the tour?

The tickets can be purchased on several websites as following website:

I chose Viator which gathers many tours around the world. Sometimes we can get the discount. I will review how to purchase the ticket
