Kungsträdgården - Stockholm, Sweden

Kungsträdgården or King's garden is garden located in downtown of Stockholm. It is only one station from T-Centralen station. Mostly sightseeing places and shopping area opens 10:00 a.m. so I decided to visit park in the morning. The weather is good, not too cold. It's sunny day.

Kungsträdgården station has an outstanding design. You can see from below photo. This station also has long escalator. It is not busy station.

Access

One station from T-Centralen station. It is terminal Station, 1-2 minutes walk to the garden.

Get off Kungstradgarden station. Turn left. Go straight to the red church and turn left again. The garden is one the right side.

It was still early in the morning and weekday so most people went to work.
Enter to the garden and turn back. When go back to train station, red church is outstanding point so you would not get lost.

These are cherry blossom trees or Sakura. Normally the flower blooms around end April.
If it fully blooms, it will be more beautiful and romantic. Around early May, Cherry Blossom Festival by Japanese embassy, is held at Kungsträdgården so it is crowd during that time

Cherry blossoms are blooming.

Not far from the garden, there are beautiful architecture and other beautiful spots area.
Walk to the main street, see McDonald's in the opposite side.

FYI, there are toilets at McDonald's on basement floor, require 5 SEK. No separate toilet for man and woman.

Beside McDonald's there are bike rental and near bike rental spot, can see tram. Tram number 7 (blue car) can take to Vasa Museum. Please visit this link to see detail of Vasa museum.

I crossed road back to same side as Kungstradgarden. I like this area. I could take a break and took some photo of these beautiful buildings.
