Travel between Tokyo / Narita & Haneda Airport and Chiba - Japan


Chiba is located in Kanto region and east of Tokyo. It takes only 40 minutes from Tokyo.
Chiba has outstanding popular sightseeing spots like Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea.
Someone may think that Disneyland is located in Tokyo. In fact they are in Chiba. Moreover, Chiba still has other interesting sightseeing spots such as Naritasan Shinshoji Temple , Nokogiriyama Nihonji Tenbodai, Mother Farm, Tokyo German Village, Sawara and etc.


1. Travel between Tokyo station and Chiba station
    By Train 
    - Take JR Sobu line rapid service (40 minutes approximately). Fare is 640 yen.

2.  Travel between Shinjuku station and Chiba station
      By Train
      - Take JR Chuo/Sobu Line Local Service  for Chiba (70 minutes approximately). Fare is 800 yen.

      By Bus
      - There are midnight service bus from Shinjuku West Exit to JR Chiba station. Fare is 3,100 yen (Adult) and 1,550 yen (Child). Timetable click here 




2. Travel between Narita Airport and Chiba station
     By Train
     - Take JR Sobu / Narita Line Rapid from / to Chiba-Chuo Station (50 minutes approximately). Fare is 670 yen. There are 1-2 trains per hour.

     By Bus 
     2.1 Keisei Bus:   
           Narita Airport Terminal 1 - Bus stop no.5. Bus stop is on ground floor near arrival. 

           Narita Airport Terminal 2 - Bus stop no.12. Bus stop is on ground floor

             Fare is 1,000 yen (Adult) and 500 yen (Child)         

3.  Travel between Haneda Airport and Chiba station
     
       By Bus 
        3.1 Keisei Bus:   Fare:  1,370 yen (Adult), 690 yen (Child)
        Haneda Airport Terminal 1 & 2 - Bus stop no.13.

        3.2 Limousine Bus (Other operated companies): 
         Fare:  1,370 yen (Adult), 690 yen (Child)

  *Travel between Narita / Haneda Airport and Chiba, taking train is faster and cheaper than the bus. Bus taking spends more than 1 hour. Anyway, please try to avoid rush hour.
