Christmas lights in Bangkok are mostly held on Sukhumvit Road. You can take BTS skytrain which is the most convenient way. Here is map of BTS skytrain. This year, you can see the christmas lights from The Em District (at Phrom Phong station, Sukhumvit Line) until MBK Center (National Stadium, Silom Line). The most popular photo taking spot areas are Siam Paragon and Central World. I went to these both place, please see the photo as below.
Siam Paragon
Elephant Parade Bangkok 2015 has several colored elephants which are decorated by the artists, exhibited in front of and inside Siam Paragon. There are different styles of 88 elephants. From Siam Paragon, you can take skywalk from Siam to Central World. or MBK Center.

Central World
Central World is the large shopping department store which is located at Rachaprasong area. This year, the christmas decoration theme is A Happy Fairy Tale. Last year, the theme was Snoopy. I like Disney theme, very cute. Around the front area of Central World is New year Countdown Place.

BTS Chitlom Station / BTS Siam Station
There are many interesting photo taking spots. Photo taking in the daytime and nighttime are both beautiful but many people at night. This year, the weather is hot although it is winter now. If you love the characters from Disney such as Micky Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck, of course you may take many photo in this area.

Amarin Plaza
You can walk from Central World, it's nor far or if you take BTS to Chitlom Station, you will see Amarin Plaza at left side (on the way to Central World). It is shopping place.
Amarin X'Mas Playbox 2015 is held during 16 Nov 2015-8 Jan 2016 in front of Amarin Plaza. There are food shops, accessories shop, shows and etc.
