(Review) Hotel Kaiko Sapporo Nakajima Park - Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan

Hotel Kaiko Sapporo Nakajima Park (ホテルカイコー札幌中島公園) is located in Sapporo. This hotel was reopened in 2014. I reserved the room online and paid at the hotel. In fact, I tried to book the room near Sapporo station because It was easy to connect the train to other sightseeing places but mostly the rooms rate near Sapporo station were high in summer. Fortunately, on that day there was Firework festival at Toyohiragawa river. Just walk only 2-3 minutes from this hotel to the festival, how lucky!.

Access

Nakajima Koen Station (Namboku Line) Exit 3, walk 5-6 minutes.
If you have luggage, please use exit no.1. There is elevator.

From the station exit no.3, turn right, go straight until you see junction. Go to left side.
The first junction, turn left. Cross the road. Go straight along the main street until you see the brown and grey building, then turn left. Go straight and you will see the hotel sign like the below photo.

Check In: 15:00
Check out: 11:00

Hotel Kaiko Sapporo Nakajima Koen is very close to Hotel Rio and near Nakajima Park.
Nakajimakoen station is just one station from Susukino station. Take about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel to Susukino shopping area.

Double Room

This is double room. Room rate is not high although it is summer (high season for Hokkaido). At first, I thought the bed might be small but in fact it was ok, not too small.
The room has enough space to walk and keep the luggage.

The amenities are also good. There were kettle, green tea, TV, refrigerator, microwave, shampoo, conditioner, face & hand soap, bath soap, toot brush, hair brush, wash tower and razor. The microwave is very convenience and rarely has it in each room of the hotel.
