Kitano-cho; Western house - Kobe, Japan

Kobe is a town where you should not miss. If you come to Osaka or Kyoto, you can access here by train. Kobe is not far from Osaka. It takes only 30 minutes. 
Kobe still has other sightseeing place. 

Kitano-cho was established by foreigners who settled in Kobe. 
The buildings are in western-style.
Along the walking path in Kitano, we can see beautiful houses in different styles.

Souvenir shops are interesting. Price is not expensive and the products are attractive.

How to get there?

1. From Osaka - Take train Hankyu line from Umeda to Kobe-Sannomiya station
2. From Osaka - Take JR Osaka to JR Sannomiya

3. Take shinkansen to Shin-kobe station and interchange to Sannomiya

When arrive Sannomiya station, walk straight, then walk over the footbridge. 
It takes about 10-15 minutes walk from the Sannomiya.

I went to Kitano-cho early May. 
There was flower decoration event called "Infiorata Kobe Kitanozaka"

During the early May, it is Golden week period in Japan or long holiday.
Anywhere is full of people.

The walkway is a bit slope, please be careful.

When arrived on top and turn back, scenery was beautiful.

But here was not still our destination, keep walking.

Finally, we arrived. If you would like to see inside the building, need to purchase ticket.

While walking in Kitano-cho, there were souvenir shops. 
The price was not expensive at all.

Kitano-cho is one of sightseeing spot in Kobe. If you have time only half day, should not miss here. The atmosphere seems unique style and have many beautiful residence.
Next, I went to Kobe Harborland where is interesting place and has good scenery.
